Both of her parents are living. Neither of them have jobs and are drunks. When Brenda was a baby, they would take her to the streets to beg for money. After she grew up, they still used her to get people to give them money but she didn’t get enough begging. So, Brenda had to turn to digging through the trash in the streets for food. She had never been to school before, and now she is doing great! She is very shy but one of the happiest girls here. Since coming to Mirembe, she has heard of the love of Jesus and now knows him personally!
