Help a Village Child receive An Education
Established 2018 as a ministry of the Sonrise Children’s Home. It offers nursery and primary education for Children’s Home children and village children. Current enrollment is about 400. The school is located at the Sonrise Children’s Home, Abutanula village, Kamuli District
Our Nursery & Primary School opened February 5, 2018 under the management of Ivan & Melissa Mukulu. Besides providing a place to educate our Sonrise children, we are making a way for local village children to get an education, most for the first time.
Help us provide an education for the village children, preschool to 7th grade, that live near our new school in Kamuli district, Uganda.
$20 per month educates 1 child. This will help us provide teacher's salaries, breakfast and lunch, uniforms, school supplies, and school maintenance. Our children would not be learning to read, write and learn about God without your monthly gift.
Your gift is applied to offset the cost of providing an education of hundreds of our Ugandan children. Because of the number of village children in the school it has proven impractical for us to assign a specific child to a school sponsorship. We simply do not have the manpower to do so.
$20 per month will educate one child
