Daphine K.

Daphine’s mother is very sick with bone cancer. Daphine has been with her father who worked hard to earn enough to feed both of them. Daphine would usually be left with a neighbor while he worked. She became very malnourished.

Someone reached out to Mirembe with Daphine’s story and our social worker investigated. We rescued Daphine in an effort to improve her health and give her a safe and loving family at Mirembe.  She joined our cottage mid December 2022. The father is very grateful. Maybe one day she can be reunited with family.
