A Week of Transformation: Sonrise Community Church Youth Camp
This week, over 160 youth gathered at a secondary school near Jinja for the Sonrise Community Church Youth Camp. Running from Sunday afternoon to Friday of the 3rd week of December, the camp has already been life-changing for many.
Sunday began with impactful sessions and worship led by speakers and musicians from Kampala, Jinja, and local missionaries. Topics such as personal time with God, sexual purity, peer pressure, prayer, and trauma healing resonated deeply, with heartfelt testimonies inspiring a sense of community.
Music and worship uplifted spirits, while sessions on Biblical godly men and women encouraged youth to reflect on their paths and purpose. The highlight so far has been witnessing many accept Jesus as their Savior, filling the camp with renewal and hope.
This camp is a powerful reminder of the impact of faith, community, and discipleship.
